Original Research

Abstract
An abstract is required. The abstract should be no longer than a single paragraph. The abstract must be structured.
Manuscript
Original Research articles have a maximum word count of 12,000. Original Research articles must follow the format Abstract; Introduction; Materials and Methods; Results; Discussion. The manuscript must include a 200-word summary of its scope and relevance, and generative AI use must be acknowledged in the acknowledgements section and, if applicable, in the methods section.
References
References should list the first six authors followed by et al. and include the DOI when available.
Figures & Tables
Figures must be submitted individually in the same order as they are referred to in the manuscript, and tables should be inserted at the end of the manuscript in an editable format. Figure captions should be placed at the end of the manuscript, table captions must be placed immediately before the table, and each figure and table must be mentioned in the text in numerical order.
Systematic Review

A statement summarizing the manuscript’s contribution to and position in the existing literature must be prepared ahead of submission.
Abstract
Required. No more than a single paragraph. Structured. Abstract should follow the IMRAD format.
Manuscript
Maximum 12,000 words. Abstract; Introduction; Methods; Results; Discussion. Methods must include study design, participants, interventions, comparators, systematic review protocol, search strategy, data sources, study selections and data extraction, and data analysis; Results must include a flow diagram of the studies retrieved for the review, study selection and characteristics, synthesized findings, and assessment of risk of bias.
References
References must include only published or accepted articles, and citations must match between the text, figures or tables and the reference list.
Figures & Tables
Figures must be submitted individually in the order they are cited, and tables must be inserted at the end of the manuscript in editable format. Each figure and table must be mentioned in the text and in numerical order, figure captions must be placed at the end of the manuscript, and table captions must be placed immediately before each table.

Data Report articles must follow the format Introduction; Methods used to collect the data, including data collection period, filters applied, and information on how readers may interpret the dataset and reuse the data; some analysis of the data; relevant subsections, and they must not include Results or Discussion sections. Data Report articles must include the name of the dataset, the database or repository where it has been submitted, and a link for confidential peer review that will be updated with the public link before publication.
