Original Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Original Articles must include an abstract. The abstract must be unstructured and must not exceed 250 words. The abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript The manuscript must be 3,000 to 6,000 words excluding the abstract, references, figures, and tables. The main text must be arranged as title, running title, full author names, institutional affiliations, acknowledgments, abstract and keywords, main text, references, tables, figure legends, and appendices if relevant. At least 4 keywords must be provided, a table of contents entry with the title, authors, a summary of no more than 80 words or 3 sentences, and a representative figure must be included, and any use of generative AI for language editing must be disclosed in the acknowledgments with the software named, its use described, and the author identified as guarantor for the final content.
References References must not exceed 50. References must follow Vancouver format. References must be cited in the text as superscript Arabic numerals in citation order and listed numerically at the end, with all authors listed for papers with up to six authors and the first three authors followed by et al. for papers with more than six authors.
Figures & Tables Original Articles must include 6 to 8 tables or figures. The main text and figures must be submitted as separate files. Tables must be supplied as editable files rather than images, and figure and table legends must be concise, comprehensive, and understandable without reference to the text.

Reviews

Cover Letter A cover letter is required for Reviews. The cover letter must include details of five publications by the authors relevant to the topic and a brief outline explaining why the review is timely.
Abstract An abstract is required for Reviews. The abstract must not exceed 250 words. The abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript The manuscript must not exceed 6,000 words. At least 4 keywords must be provided, and if generative AI is used for language editing an acknowledgements statement must name the software, describe its use, and state that the author is guarantor for the final content.
References Reviews must have no more than 60 references. References should follow Vancouver format. References must be cited in the text with superscript Arabic numerals in order of appearance and listed in numerical order, with all authors named for up to six authors or the first three followed by et al. for more than six authors.
Figures & Tables Reviews may include a maximum of 6 tables or figures. The main text file and figures must be submitted as separate files. Tables must be supplied as editable files rather than images.
