Original Article

Cover Letter Cover letter must disclose any overlap with a previous publication, and submission requires consent from all coauthors obtained by the corresponding author.
Abstract Abstract is required. Abstract must be structured. Abstract headings must be Objective(s), Methods, Results, and Conclusion(s).
Manuscript Introduction must not exceed 350 words, and Discussion must not exceed 1000 words. Manuscript must be organized into the headed sections Title page, Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgments (if applicable), and References, with the study design specified in Methods and a Conclusion(s) section included in the Discussion. Title page must include 3–10 MeSH keywords for indexing that do not overlap with the manuscript title, and any use of generative AI to produce, revise, or edit manuscript content must be disclosed in the Acknowledgment section with the tool name, version, manufacturer, and how it was applied.
References References must conform to American Medical Association (AMA) style. References must be numbered consecutively in citation order and cited as unbracketed superscript numbers, with up to 6 authors listed in full and 7 or more authors listed as the first 3 followed by et al.
Figures & Tables Tables must be presented at the end of the document, and figures must be provided as separate files. Figure legends must be provided on a separate manuscript page, and tables must be provided in editable Word format.
