Indian Journal Of Sexually Transmitted Diseases And Aids accepts the following article types. Click on an article type to view submission instructions.

Studies

Cover Letter Cover letter is required. Cover letter must state the paper title, be signed by all authors, include financial or other study support details, state originality, transfer copyright on acceptance, and include a conflict of interest statement.
Abstract Abstract is required. Abstract must be no more than 250 words.
Manuscript Manuscript must be 1000 to 2500 words excluding the abstract and references. Manuscript must be organized on separate pages for title page, abstract and key words, introduction, material and methods, observations, discussion, acknowledgements, references, tables, figures, and legends. Key words and a key message must appear below the abstract, and any use of generative AI must be disclosed in the manuscript with the tool and purpose described in the Methods or Acknowledgments section.
References References must be cited by Arabic numerals in the text, listed in the order first cited, and when there are five or more authors only the first three should be listed followed by et al.
Figures & Tables Tables, figures, and legends must be included as separate pages in the manuscript, and legends to photographs must also be included in the article file. Tables must be numbered in Arabic numerals and be self-explanatory, and illustrations must be essential, cited as Figure in Arabic numerals, and have legends of no more than 25 words.

Review Article

Figures & Tables Tables should be avoided if lengthy or numerous, and illustrations should be restricted to very essential ones.
