Infectious Diseases Now, formerly Médecine et Maladies Infectieuses, publishes in English original scientific and clinical material on infectious pathologies and their pathogens. It is the official journal of the French Infectious Diseases Society and covers clinical, prevention, biology, nosocomial infections, epidemiology, and therapeutics. Issues contain editorials, original articles, general reviews, short communications and letters to the editor.

General Review

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract is required for General Review articles. Abstract must be 250 words in American English.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 6,000 words excluding abstract, figures, and references. Articles must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections. Manuscript must include highlights and 5 keywords in American English.
References General Review articles must include no more than 70 references. References must be presented according to the Vancouver standards. References must be numbered in the order they appear in the text and list up to six authors before using 'et al.' for additional authors.
Figures & Tables Tables and figures may be included without numerical limit as long as they are relevant. Figures must be uploaded as separate files with captions supplied separately, and tables must be uploaded with titles, descriptions, and footnotes. Tables must be submitted as editable text rather than images.

Manuscript must be organized as a scientific study with introduction, patients (or material) and methods, results, discussion, and conclusion. Manuscript must include highlights and 5 keywords in American English, and a declaration of generative AI use must be added at the end of the manuscript before the references if applicable.
References Reference list must contain no more than 40 references. References must follow Vancouver standards. References must be numbered in order of appearance and cited in the text, tables, and captions using numbers in brackets, listing up to six authors before adding 'et al.'.
