Research Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 300 words. Abstract must be self-contained and citation-free.
Manuscript Manuscript should include a succinct introduction without subheadings and a conclusions section explaining the main conclusions and their importance and relevance. Manuscript must include a Data Availability Statement, sufficient information to allow evaluation of the methods and results, a supplementary material section before the references when supplementary files are included, and an AI use disclosure if AI was used to substantially edit, develop, or translate the manuscript.
References References may be submitted in any style. References must be numbered consecutively in order of first citation, cited in the text using numbers in square brackets, and all references must be cited within the text.
Figures & Tables All figures and tables must be included in the manuscript file at submission, and each figure must also be supplied in a separate electronic file. Figures and tables must be cited consecutively in the manuscript, and every table must have a descriptive title.
