Research Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 300 words.
Manuscript Manuscript must include title and authorship information, a succinct introduction without subheadings, a methods section with enough detail to allow replication, and a conclusions section explaining the main conclusions and their importance. The manuscript must include acknowledgments at the very end before the references, a supplementary material section before the references describing each supplementary file, a Data Availability Statement, and an AI use disclosure in the manuscript if AI was used substantially to edit, develop, or translate the work.
References References may be submitted in any style. References must be numbered consecutively in order of first citation, cited in the text using numbers in square brackets, and every reference must be cited in the text.
Figures & Tables All figures and tables must be included in the manuscript file upon submission. Figures and tables must be cited consecutively in the manuscript, each figure must be supplied in a separate electronic file, and every table must have a descriptive title.
