Original Papers

Abstract A structured abstract is required for Original Papers. The abstract must be structured with the headings Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusions. The abstract must include Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Original Papers are limited to 3,500 words, except qualitative research Original Papers, which may be up to 6,000 words. Original Papers must include Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgements, References, Tables, a List of figure captions, and a List of supporting information legends. The manuscript must include 3–10 keywords, up to 4 key points after the keywords, a Data Availability Statement, and an IRB Statement.
References References may be submitted in any consistent style or format. References must include author name or names, journal title or book title, article title where required, year of publication, volume and issue or book chapter, and pagination.
Figures & Tables Original Papers may include a combined total of no more than 6 figures and tables. Figures may be submitted embedded in the manuscript or as separate files, and tables may be included in the manuscript. Figures and tables must have legends, tables must include a title and footnotes, and a List of figure captions must be included.
