International Journal of Nursing Sciences is the official peer-reviewed research journal of the Chinese Nursing Association. It aims to promote excellence in nursing and health care through dissemination of evidence-based clinical information and original research, and provides an international platform for exchanging knowledge, research findings, and nursing practice experience across a wide range of nursing topics. The journal publishes six issues per year in January, March, May, July, September, and November.

Original Research Papers

Cover Letter A covering letter is required. The covering letter must detail authorship contributions and state that all authors approved the final article and that all those entitled to authorship are listed as authors.
Abstract A structured abstract is required. Abstract must be less than 300 words. Abstract must be structured.
Manuscript Manuscript must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections. The manuscript must include four to eight keywords in alphabetical order and, if generative AI tools were used, a declaration statement in a new section before the references.
References References must be cited by number in square brackets. The reference list must be numbered in the order of appearance in the text, and references with more than 6 authors must list the first 6 followed by 'et al.'.
Figures & Tables There must be no more than five tables and figures in total. Tables and figures should be included in the manuscript at the appropriate point, and each illustration must also be submitted as a separate file. Tables must be submitted as editable text rather than images, and all tables and figures must be clearly labelled.
