Cover Letter A cover letter is required and must be uploaded as a separate file. The cover letter must outline the significance of the work and refer to any other publications that utilize the same data set.
Abstract A structured abstract is required. The abstract must be no more than 250 words. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must use the headings Objective, Method, Results, and Conclusion.
Manuscript The manuscript must be no longer than 4,500 words. The main text must be scientifically complete, and New Research articles must include key words. Five key words or terms and a Plain Language Summary must be provided, and authors must disclose any use of AI or AI-assisted technologies in the submission or development of submission materials.
References The reference list must contain no more than 50 references. References must be cited in the text using consecutive superscript Arabic numerals in order of appearance, and journal names should be abbreviated according to the List of Title Word Abbreviations.
Figures & Tables New Research articles must have no more than 5 combined tables and figures. The abstract, manuscript text, and tables must be in a single file, while figures must be uploaded separately. Tables must be placed after the reference list in the anonymized manuscript file, and figure titles and legends must be included on a separate page following the reference list and any tables.

Review articles must include the search and selection criteria for data sources, and the title must begin with the type of review followed by a colon and the topical article title. Five key words or terms and a Plain Language Summary must be provided, and the table of included studies must contain a column summarizing the sociodemographic characteristics of each study as reported in the original research.
