Abstract A structured abstract is required. The abstract must be structured.
Manuscript Text must not exceed 3000 words, excluding abstract, tables, figures, acknowledgments, references, and online-only material. Original Investigation manuscripts must include a study type. The manuscript must include 3 Key Points and must clearly describe any artificial intelligence-generated content with the tool name, version, and manufacturer.

Narrative Review

Cover Letter A cover letter is required, and Narrative Review submissions also require a presubmission inquiry. The cover letter or presubmission materials must state whether related papers from the same study exist and should summarize the topic, provide a detailed outline, briefly summarize the extent and quality of the evidence, summarize the authorship group's expertise and publication record, and provide relevant financial conflicts of interest.
Abstract A 3-part structured abstract is required for Narrative Review manuscripts. The abstract must not exceed 300 words. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must use the headings Importance, Observations, and Conclusions and Relevance.
Manuscript Narrative Review manuscripts must be 2000-3500 words. The manuscript should be organized as Abstract, Introduction, Methods if included, Discussion/Observations, and Conclusions. Key Points must not be included, and any AI-generated or AI-assisted content must be clearly disclosed in the manuscript or acknowledgment with the tool details and authors accepting responsibility.
