Article

Cover Letter A cover letter is required with the submission. The cover letter must explain the paper’s significance and fit to the journal’s scope and include statements that the manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere and that all authors approved the manuscript and agree to its submission to JCM.
Abstract A structured abstract is required for this article type. The abstract should be around 250 words. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must use the headings Background/Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript The manuscript should include front matter with Title, Author list, Affiliations, Abstract, and Keywords; main sections of Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, and optional Conclusions; and back matter with Supplementary Materials, Author Contributions, Funding, Data Availability Statement, Acknowledgments, Conflicts of Interest, and References. The manuscript must include three to ten keywords after the abstract and provide an Author Contributions statement, Funding information, a Data Availability Statement, and a Conflicts of Interest section.
References References must be numbered in order of appearance, indicating a numbered citation style. In-text reference numbers must appear in square brackets before punctuation, and references must be listed individually at the end of the manuscript with full titles in order of appearance.
Figures & Tables Figures, schemes, and tables must be inserted into the main text close to their first citation. Figures, schemes, and tables must be numbered in order of appearance and each must have a short explanatory title and caption.

Review

Abstract A structured abstract is required for Systematic Review manuscripts. Abstract should be around 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Background/Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Manuscript must include the sections Author Information, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusions, Figures and Tables with Captions, Funding Information, Author Contributions, and Conflict of Interest, and Systematic Reviews must present a detailed investigation of previous research using clearly defined search parameters and methods with a clearly detailed Methods section. Manuscript must include three to ten keywords after the abstract and clearly state reporting guideline compliance in the Methods section.
References References must be numbered in order of appearance using square-bracket citations. References must be listed individually at the end of the manuscript in order of appearance and must include the full title.
