Cover Letter A cover letter is required.
Abstract A structured abstract is required. Abstract must be 300 words or fewer. Abstract must be structured. Abstract headings must be Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Manuscript Manuscript body must be 6000 words or fewer. Manuscript body must be organized as Introduction, Related Work, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion. Manuscript must include a graphical abstract, a Statement of Significance table at the end of the introduction with the headings Problem or Issue, What is Already Known, What this Paper Adds, and Who would benefit from the new knowledge in this paper in 150 words or fewer, keywords, a declaration of competing interest, and an AI declaration statement at the end of the manuscript immediately before the references if AI tools were used for manuscript preparation.
References References must be cited by number in square brackets. References must be numbered in the order of appearance and include author names, chapter or article titles, journal or book titles, year, and volume numbers, article numbers, or pagination where applicable.
Figures & Tables The combined total number of figures and tables must not exceed 8. Tables may be placed next to the relevant text or on separate pages at the end of the article, while figures and other artwork must be supplied as separate files. Tables must be editable text with captions and figures must have captions, and any generative AI-created image must be disclosed in the relevant image caption.
