Journal of Clinical Virology is an international journal and the official journal of the Pan American Society for Clinical Virology and The European Society for Clinical Virology. It publishes papers and reviews on the clinical aspects of human virology, including diagnostical methods, virus-induced clinical conditions, and new technologies for viral diagnosis and monitoring, with topics such as respiratory viruses, transplant viruses, chronic viral infections, cancer-associated viruses, gastrointestinal viruses, central nervous system viruses, and one health.

Full Length Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract A structured abstract is required for Full Length Articles. Abstract must be no more than 250 words. Abstract must be structured.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 2500 words excluding the abstract, references, acknowledgements, figure captions, and tables. Manuscript should be divided into clearly defined sections using headings. The manuscript must include 1 to 7 keywords, and article highlights of 3 to 5 bullet points must be submitted as a separate editable file, and any use of generative AI in manuscript preparation must be declared in a section before the references titled "Declaration of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the manuscript preparation process."
References References must be cited in the text using numbers in square brackets and listed in the order of appearance.
Figures & Tables Figures must be uploaded as separate files, and tables must be submitted as editable text. All figures and tables must be cited in the text, numbered consecutively in order of appearance, and accompanied by captions.
