Journal of Neurorestoratology is the official journal of the International Association of Neurorestoratology (IANR). It is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal focusing on experimental and clinical research, methodological advances, neurorestorative mechanisms, neural rehabilitation, healthcare prevention in neurorestoratology, and related areas including neurotrauma, stroke, neurodegenerative disease, cell therapy, neuromodulation, brain machine interface, neurorestorative surgery, pharmacy, bioengineering, tissue engineering, and active neurorehabilitation.

Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract
An abstract is required. Abstract must be structured into four sections. Abstract headings must be Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript
Manuscript must include the sections Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion. Manuscript must include keywords and a declaration of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the manuscript preparation process before the references if such tools were used beyond basic grammar, spelling, punctuation, or reference management functions.
References
References must be cited in the text using consecutive superscript Arabic numerals and listed in numerical order of appearance.
Figures & Tables
Tables may be placed next to the relevant text in the article or on separate pages at the end, and each illustration must be submitted as a separate file. All figures must have relevant captions, and all tables must include titles, descriptions, and footnotes.

Abstract
An abstract is required for Reviews. The abstract must be unstructured and must not exceed 250 words. The abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript
The manuscript must not exceed 5000 words, excluding the abstract, references, acknowledgments, figure captions, and tables. Articles must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections. The manuscript must include 3 to 8 keywords and a declaration of generative AI use in a new section before the references list when applicable.
References
Reviews must not exceed 40 references. References in the text must be indicated by consecutive superscript Arabic numerals in the order in which they appear, and the reference list must be numbered in that same order.
Figures & Tables
Reviews must not exceed 8 figures and tables in total. Tables may be placed next to the relevant text in the article or on separate pages at the end, and each illustration must be submitted as a separate file. All figures must include captions, all tables must include titles, descriptions, and footnotes, and tables must be submitted as editable text rather than images.
