The Journal of Occupational Health Psychology publishes theory, research, and public policy articles in occupational health psychology, an interdisciplinary field focused on improving work life and protecting and promoting the safety, health, and well-being of workers. The journal emphasizes the organization of work, individual psychological attributes, and the work–nonwork interface in relation to employee health, safety, and well-being, with particular attention to prevention, promotion, and contemporary workplace issues.

Original Article

Cover Letter A submission letter is required. It must include a statement regarding any possible conflict of interest and a statement of compliance with APA ethical standards.
Abstract An abstract is required. No more than 250 words. Unstructured.
Manuscript Original Article manuscripts may not exceed 40 double-spaced pages, excluding figures, tables, references, and appendices. The manuscript must be in masked review format, include a separate title page with author names and affiliations, contain no author-identifying information elsewhere, and include an author note with prior dissemination, funding, conflict-of-interest, and AI-use disclosures when applicable.
References APA style. References must be listed in alphabetical order.
Figures & Tables Tables and figures may be included as part of the manuscript, with multipanel figures assembled into one file and runnable source code or code-containing appendices submitted as separate files when applicable. Tables must be created using Word's Insert Table function, preferred graphics formats are TIFF, JPG, and EPS, and figures must be readable in both color and black-and-white.
