The Journal of the National Cancer Center (JNCC) is a peer-reviewed, fully open-access journal launched in March 2021 that publishes high-quality articles across all areas of cancer research, including cancer biology, epidemiology, prevention, detection, diagnosis, treatment, and cancer-related health policies. It publishes original research articles, news stories, systematic and focused reviews, commentaries, brief communications, correspondences, and editorials, and is supervised by the National Health Commission of China and sponsored by the National Cancer Center.

Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract
A structured abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured.
Manuscript
Main text must not exceed 6000 words, excluding the abstract, references, figures, and tables. Manuscript must include an Introduction and sections with succinct titles, and Materials and Methods should provide sufficient detail in a logical organization to allow replication or validation. Manuscript must include 3 to 6 keywords, submit 3 to 5 highlights as a separate editable file, and include any generative AI declaration in a new section before the references if such tools were used in manuscript preparation.
References
References are limited to a maximum of 100. Citations must use superscript Arabic numerals in order of appearance, and the reference list must be numbered in that same order with journal names abbreviated according to LTWA.
Figures & Tables
A maximum of 10 figures and tables may be included. Figures must be supplied as separate files, while tables are uploaded with the submission as editable text. Tables must be editable text with consecutive numbering and captions, and all figures and tables must be cited in the manuscript text.

Main text must be limited to 8000 words, excluding the abstract, references, figures, and tables. Manuscript must be divided into clearly defined sections covering all essential elements using headings. Manuscript must include 1 to 6 English keywords, highlights as a separate editable file containing 3 to 5 bullet points of no more than 85 characters each, and a declaration of any generative AI use in manuscript preparation in a section placed before the references list upon initial submission.
References
Reference list may include a maximum of 300 references. References must be cited in the text using superscript Arabic numerals in order of appearance, and the reference list must be numbered in that same order with journal names abbreviated according to LTWA.
Figures & Tables
Reviews may include a maximum of 10 figures and tables. Figures must be supplied as separate files and tables must be uploaded with the submission. Tables must be editable text with captions and citations in the manuscript text, and figures must be numbered, cited in the text, and accompanied by captions.
