Abstract Abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Background and Aims, Methods, Results, and Interpretation.
Manuscript Manuscript must follow the traditional structure of Title Page, Abstract and keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgements, References, Tables, Figure legends, and Appendices if relevant. Up to 5 keywords must be listed on a separate line following the abstract, and AI use that substantially edited, developed, or translated the manuscript must be disclosed on submission.
References References must follow AMA style and be numbered consecutively in order of appearance. References must be numbered consecutively in the order they appear in the text.
Figures & Tables Figures must be uploaded separately from the main text file, and the approximate place of each figure must be indicated in the manuscript. Tables must be identified by number and include legends that clearly identify the symbols and data listed.
