Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract An unstructured abstract is required for Article manuscripts. The abstract must not exceed 250 words. The abstract must be unstructured and must not include headers.
Manuscript Article manuscripts must not exceed 4,000 words of text only. The manuscript should include Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Study Highlights, Acknowledgements, Author Contributions statement, References, Tables, Figure Legends, and Supplementary Material titles if included. Study Highlights must appear after the Discussion and stay under 150 words excluding the questions, and an Author Contributions section must appear before the References listing only the roles wrote the manuscript, designed the research, performed the research, analyzed the data, and, if applicable, contributed new reagents/analytical tools.
References Article manuscripts must not exceed 50 references. References must be listed in citation order, include article titles, and list all authors unless there are more than 6, in which case only the first author should be given followed by et al.
Figures & Tables Article manuscripts must not exceed 7 figures and tables combined. Tables should be placed after the references in the main text file, and figures must be uploaded separately with figure legends appearing after the references. Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively in order of first citation, and multipart tables are not allowed.

Manuscript Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis manuscripts must not exceed 8,000 words of text only. The manuscript should include Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Study Highlights, Acknowledgements, Author Contributions statement, References, Tables, Figure Legends, and Supplementary Material titles if included. A Study Highlights section under 150 words excluding the questions must appear after the Discussion, and an Author Contributions section listing only the allowed roles must appear before the References.
References Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis manuscripts must not exceed 100 references. References must be listed in citation order, include article titles, and list all authors unless there are more than 6, in which case only the first author should be followed by et al.
Figures & Tables Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses must not exceed 8 figures and tables combined. Tables must follow the references in the manuscript text, and figures must be uploaded separately as individual files with legends placed after the references.
