Original Research Papers

Cover Letter A cover letter is required if Large Language Model tools were used. The cover letter must note any use of Large Language Model tools.
Abstract A structured abstract is required. The abstract must not exceed 200 words. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must include objectives, methods, key findings, and conclusions.
Manuscript Original Research Papers should not normally exceed 4000 words. The manuscript should include Introduction, Materials and methods, Results, and end sections for acknowledgments and funding information. The manuscript must include three to six keywords, a Conflict of Interest statement, documentation of any Large Language Model tool use in the Methods, Acknowledgments, or another appropriate section, and a separate uploaded highlights file.
References References may be formatted in any readable numbered style at submission. References must include the full DOI link where available.
Figures & Tables Tables must be placed at the end of the main text, each figure must be submitted as an individual image file, and figure titles and legends must be included within the manuscript file rather than the image files. All tables must be numbered, referenced in the text, in editable format rather than image files, and all panels of a multipanel figure must be submitted on a single page as one file with lettered panels.

Critical Reviews

References References may be formatted in any readable numbered style at submission. The full DOI link must be included in references where available.
Figures & Tables Tables must be placed at the end of the main text, figure titles and legends must be included within the manuscript file, each figure must be submitted as an individual image file, and the PRISMA flowchart must be submitted as a figure. All tables must be numbered and referenced in the text, and all figures must be numbered.
