It provides a global platform for discussion, perspectives, and research on traditional and complementary medicine, focuses on both Eastern and Western complementary medicine, and welcomes articles from all medical perspectives. Major topics include basic research, preventive medicine, food supplements and nutraceuticals, history, philosophy and social-cultural aspects of traditional medicine, clinical research and trials, and regulation, education, and quality control.

Original Research Papers

Cover Letter A cover letter is required and must be submitted with the completed Overall Evaluation Sheet (OES). The cover letter must include the completed Overall Evaluation Sheet (OES).
Abstract A concise and factual abstract is required. The abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript The manuscript must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections. The manuscript must include a declaration of interest statement, a generative AI declaration section before the references if applicable, and a maximum of 6 keywords immediately after the abstract.
References References must follow American Medical Association style. Journal names in the references should be abbreviated according to Index Medicus, LTWA, or CAS abbreviations.
Figures & Tables Tables may be placed next to the relevant text in the article or on separate pages at the end, and figures may be presented with captions within the main manuscript while also being uploaded as separate high-resolution files. Tables must be submitted as editable text rather than images, and figure captions must be supplied separately rather than attached to the figures.
