Medcomm

MedComm is a multidisciplinary open access journal publishing pioneering medical science advances that aim to improve human health. It has a broad scope ranging from cell biology to clinical medicine and emphasizes original findings that advance knowledge of pathogenesis or improve the diagnosis and treatment of human disease, with particular interest in interdisciplinary studies using molecular biology, cell biology, chemistry, pharmacology, or material science to address clinical, basic, and translational medicine.

Original Article

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must be 200 words.
Manuscript Original Article manuscripts are typically 6000 words in length. Manuscript must contain abstract, introduction, methods, results, and conclusions. Manuscript must include three to six keywords and a graphical abstract with a 2–3 sentence brief abstract summarizing the essence of the paper.
References There is no limit on the number of references. References should follow Chicago style. References should be numbered consecutively in order of appearance and in-text citations should use consecutive Arabic superscript numerals.
Figures & Tables Original Article manuscripts may include up to 8 figures and tables in total. Figures may be included in the manuscript file or uploaded as separate files, and graphical abstract entries should be uploaded as 'Graphical Abstract' at initial submission. All figures and tables must have legends, and the graphical abstract image must fit within 50 mm x 60 mm and remain fully legible at that size.
