Original Papers

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Original Papers must include a separate abstract page. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be unstructured and prepared without sub-headers.
Manuscript Original Papers are limited to 5000 words excluding the cover page, abstract, references, and tables/figures. Manuscript text must be organized as Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, and References. A cover page must include the full article title, a short title, all authors’ names, highest academic degrees, affiliations including countries, the corresponding author’s name, telephone number, and email address, and up to 5 keywords, and the main manuscript file must also include a lay summary under the heading 'Lay summary' before the main text with a maximum length of 300 characters.
References References must follow AMA Manual of Style, 11th Edition. References must be cited sequentially in superscript numerals in the order first mentioned in the text and listed in the Reference section in the same numerical order.
Figures & Tables Each table must be submitted as a separate page and each figure must be submitted as a separate file. Tables must include footnoted definitions of all abbreviations, and figures must include legends that allow understanding without reference to the text.

Manuscript must include a cover page with the full title, short title, all authors’ names, highest degrees and affiliations including countries, corresponding author contact details, up to 5 keywords, and a lay summary of no more than 300 characters before the main text.
References Brief Reports must include no more than 20 references. References must follow AMA Manual of Style, 11th Edition.
