Original Research (Quantitative & Qualitative )

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must explain why the manuscript is suitable for publication and disclose any third-party writing or editing assistance or submission by a non-author on behalf of the authors.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 300 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 3000 words. Manuscript sections must be clearly defined and include a section headed 'Statements and Declarations' at the end of the article. At least 4 keywords must appear after the abstract, and the manuscript must include a 'Statements and Declarations' section with all required subheadings even if marked 'Not applicable'.
References Reference list must not exceed 60 references. References must follow Sage Vancouver style. Every in-text citation must have a corresponding reference list entry and vice versa, with identical spelling and year in both places.
Figures & Tables The combined total of tables and figures must not exceed 5. Figures and images must be uploaded. Figures must be numbered consecutively in the order they are cited in the text.

Original Research (Quantitative)

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must explain why the manuscript is suitable for publication, disclose any third-party writing or editing assistance, state if the submission was made on behalf of the authors by a non-author, confirm that the work is original and for first publication, that it is not under consideration or published elsewhere, that the authors hold the rights in the work and have obtained necessary permissions, and that all contributing authors consent to submission.
Abstract A structured abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 300 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 3000 words. Manuscript sections must be clearly defined and include a section headed 'Statements and Declarations' at the end after the Acknowledgements and Author Contributions sections if applicable. Manuscript must include at least 4 keywords after the abstract and include every required subheading under 'Statements and Declarations,' using 'Not applicable' when a declaration does not apply.
References References must not exceed 60. References must follow Sage Vancouver style. Every in-text citation must have a corresponding reference list entry and vice versa, with identical spelling and year in both places.

Letter to the Editor must relate to articles published recently in the journal, must not contain novel data, and must provide a novel title rather than just 'reply to:'. A minimum of 4 keywords must be listed after the abstract, and a section headed 'Statements and Declarations' must be included at the end of the article.

Abstract An abstract is required. The abstract must be unstructured and must not exceed 300 words. The abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript The manuscript must not exceed 1000 words. Clinical Reports must be written in narrative style and include a short introduction, the case report with history, investigations, and treatment, and a brief discussion referring to the relevant literature. Clinical Reports must clearly demonstrate a novel finding or phenomenon, include three CPD questions, provide three brief answers to those questions, and include a section headed 'Statements and Declarations' at the end of the article.
