Original Articles

Cover Letter A cover letter must be included. The cover letter should explain why the manuscript is suitable for publication and must disclose any third-party writing or editing assistance or submission made by someone who is not an author, if applicable.
Abstract A structured abstract is required between the title and main body. The abstract must be structured.
Manuscript Original Articles are limited to 5,000 words excluding tables, figures, and references. The manuscript must include a structured abstract between the title and main body. Include at least 5 keywords after the abstract and a 'Statements and Declarations' section at the end of the article after the Acknowledgements and Author Contributions section if applicable, with each required subheading included even if marked 'Not applicable'.
References References must follow the Sage Vancouver style. Every in-text citation must have a corresponding reference list entry and vice versa, and corresponding citations must use identical spelling and year.
Figures & Tables Figures, charts, and tables created in Word should be included in the main text, while figures and other files created outside Word must be submitted separately with a placeholder note in the running text. Figures must be numbered consecutively in the order cited, and tables must be labeled as tables with a number, title, and a header row and/or column and must be editable within Word rather than provided as images.

Review Article

Cover Letter A cover letter must be included. The cover letter must explain why the manuscript is suitable for publication and disclose any third-party writing or editing assistance or submission by a non-author, if applicable.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract does not need to be structured.
Manuscript Sections and heading levels must be clearly defined and follow a logical order. Include at least 5 keywords after the abstract and include a 'Statements and Declarations' section at the end of the article with all required subheadings, using 'Not applicable' where needed.
References References must follow Sage Vancouver style. Every in-text citation must have a corresponding reference list entry and vice versa, with identical spelling and year in both places.
Figures & Tables Figures, charts, and tables created in Word should be included in the main text, while figures and other files created outside Word must be submitted separately with a placeholder note in the text. Letter To The Editor

Cover Letter A cover letter must be included. Cover letter should explain why the manuscript is suitable for publication and must disclose any third-party writing or editing assistance or non-author submission on behalf of the authors, if applicable.
Abstract Abstract is not required for Letters to the Editor.
Manuscript Letters to the Editor must consist of one or two paragraphs totaling no more than 500 words. Letters to the Editor must be written in a professional tone, include no subheadings, and should not include research material.
References Letters to the Editor must contain fewer than 8 references. References must follow Sage Vancouver style. Every in-text citation must have a corresponding reference list entry and every reference list entry must be cited in the text.
Figures & Tables Letters to the Editor must not include figures. Figures, charts, and tables created in Word should be included in the main text, while figures and other files created outside Word must be submitted separately with a placeholder in the text.

Treatment Guidelines

Manuscript must include at least 5 keywords after the abstract, a 'Statements and Declarations' section at the end with all required subheadings even if marked 'Not applicable,' and the members of the consensus group and their expertise.
References References must follow Sage Vancouver style. Every in-text citation must have a corresponding reference list entry and vice versa, with identical spelling and year in matching citations.
Figures & Tables Figures, charts, and tables created in Word should be included in the main text, while figures and other files created outside Word must be submitted separately with a placeholder note in the text for separately submitted figures. Figures must be numbered consecutively and include a number and title, and tables must be labeled as tables with a number, title, and a header row and/or column and be editable within Word rather than submitted as images.
