Research Articles

Cover Letter A cover letter must be submitted. Cover letter must indicate why the manuscript is suitable for publication and disclose any third-party writing or editing assistance or submission by a non-author on behalf of the authors.
Abstract A structured abstract is required. Abstract must be 200-250 words. Abstract must be structured. The abstract must concisely state the purpose of the research, major findings, and conclusions.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 6,000 words, including the abstract, figure legends, and references. Manuscript must include clear heading levels and sections, with a structured abstract placed between the title and main body. Manuscript must include 5-6 keywords after the abstract, an 'Author Contributions' section after the Acknowledgements, and a 'Statements and Declarations' section with all required subheadings.
References Reference list must contain no more than 50 references. References must follow AMA style. References must be cited in consecutive numerical order using superscript Arabic numerals, and the reference list must list all authors unless there are more than 6, in which case the first 3 authors are followed by et al.
Figures & Tables Figures, charts, and tables created in Word should be included in the main text, while figures and other files created outside Word should be submitted separately with a placeholder note in the text. Figures must be numbered consecutively and include a number and title, and tables must be labeled as tables with a number, title, and header row and/or column.
