Review

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract A brief anticipated abstract must be included in the review proposal. Abstract must typically be 150–300 words maximum.
Manuscript Review proposals must be submitted as a single document. The submission must include a proposed title, names and affiliations and websites of corresponding authors, a summary of the authors’ expertise supported by related publications, and a statement explaining how the proposed review differs from recent reviews or perspectives on the topic.
References The review proposal must include 5–10 key references that may form the foundation of the manuscript.
Figures & Tables Figures, charts, tables, schemes, and equations should be embedded in the text at the point of relevance.

Research Articles

Cover Letter A cover letter must accompany every manuscript submission.
Abstract An abstract is required for Research Articles. Abstract must typically be 150–300 words maximum. Abstract should be unstructured.
Manuscript Manuscript must use clearly identified standard sections for original research, including an Introduction, an Experimental Section, and a single-paragraph Conclusions section. Manuscript must include a graphical summary for the table of contents, 5–6 significant keywords after the abstract, and any AI-use disclosure in the Acknowledgments or Methods as appropriate.
References References and notes must be numbered consecutively in order of mention and cited in the text with superscript numbers, and titles must be included for initial submission.
Figures & Tables Figures, charts, tables, schemes, and equations should be embedded in the text at the point of relevance, while Supporting Information must be submitted as separate files. Each figure must have a caption below it and each table must have a brief title describing its contents.

Communication

Manuscript Communications are generally limited to five journal pages. Initial submission must use clearly identified standard sections for reporting original research. Manuscript must include a graphical summary for the table of contents and 5–6 significant keywords after the abstract.
References Communications may contain up to 50 references. References must be numbered consecutively in order of mention in the text and cited with superscript numbers.
Figures & Tables Figures, charts, tables, schemes, and equations should be embedded in the text at the point of relevance. Each figure must have a caption below it, and each table must have a brief title describing its contents.
