The cover letter must briefly list the main conclusions, explain the significance of the work, include details and manuscript numbers of any previous related submissions to the journal or Nucleic Acids Research, disclose any AI use, and include any relevant personal communication or related-manuscript information.
Abstract A text abstract is required. The abstract must not exceed 200 words. The abstract must be unstructured as a single paragraph without subheadings.
Manuscript The manuscript must follow the journal’s required article structure.
