Original Research

Abstract
An abstract is required for Original Research articles. Abstract must be no more than 300 words. Abstract must be structured as Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion. Abstract headings must be Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Manuscript
Original Research articles should be around 4000 words. The abstract and main text should be structured as Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion. The manuscript must include 3 to 10 keywords, 4 to 5 single-sentence key summary points below the abstract, an acknowledgements section, a disclosure statement, a limitations paragraph in the discussion, documentation of any Large Language Model use in the Methods section or another suitable section, a statement of responsibility specifying each author's contribution, and a Data Availability section at the end of the acknowledgements.
References
References must use the Vancouver system. References must include only works cited in the text, be numbered in the order cited, use Arabic numerals in square brackets for in-text citations, list all authors when there are up to six and the first three followed by et al. when there are more than six, and include the DOI where possible.
Figures & Tables
Figures must be submitted as separate files, figure legends must appear in the manuscript after the reference list, tables must be provided in an editable format within the manuscript, and supplementary material must be submitted as a separate file when included. Figures and tables must be cited in the text and numbered consecutively, tables must have a concise title with notes beneath as needed, and all abbreviations, colours, and symbols used in figures or tables must be explained.
