The Patient - Patient-Centered Outcomes Research is an official journal of the International Academy of Health Preference Research that publishes scientifically rigorous, timely, and relevant research on the development, evaluation, and implementation of therapies, technologies, and innovations that enhance the patient experience. It is an international forum for research advancing or applying qualitative and quantitative methods to generate, synthesize, or interpret evidence.

Review Article

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract must be 150 to 250 words.
Manuscript Manuscript must be up to 8000 words, excluding the abstract, references, figure legends, and table captions. Manuscript must include Statements and Declarations with a Competing Interests statement, document any large language model use in the Methods section or a suitable alternative section, include a statement identifying who conceived the article, performed the literature search and data analysis, and drafted or critically revised the work, and include a disclosure statement.
References There is no limit on the number of references. Citations must be numbered in square brackets. Reference list entries must be numbered consecutively and include only works cited in the text that have been published or accepted for publication.
Figures & Tables There is no limit on the number of tables or figures. Figures should be submitted within the body of the text. Tables and figures must be numbered with Arabic numerals, cited in consecutive numerical order, and accompanied by captions, with figure captions included in the manuscript text file rather than in the figure files.
