Original Research Articles

Cover Letter AI use must be disclosed in the cover letter to the editors. The cover letter must disclose any use of AI.
Abstract Abstract requirements are not specified.
Manuscript The end of the text must list Supplementary materials, Author contributions, Conflict of interests, and Acknowledgements in that order before References. The manuscript must disclose any use of AI in the Methods or Acknowledgements section and include Author contributions, Conflict of interests, Acknowledgements, funding details, and alt text directly under each relevant figure legend.
References References must be cited in the text by author name and year. References must be listed alphabetically and use a minimum of three authors followed by et al.
Figures & Tables The initial submission may include figures and text in one file rather than separate files. Figures and tables must be numbered consecutively, each must have a legend, and alt text must be included in the main manuscript directly under each relevant figure legend.

Figures and tables must be numbered consecutively, each must have a legend, all tables must be cited in the text, and alt text must be provided under each figure legend in the main manuscript file.
