Original Article

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract is required for Original Articles. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured into four sections and presented on a separate page. Abstract headings must be Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 3000 words excluding the abstract, references, tables, and figures. Manuscript must be ordered as title page, abstract, key learning points, keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgements, References, Tables, Legends to figure, and Figure. Manuscript must include no more than 5 keywords and 3 key learning points under the headings What was known, This study adds, and Potential impact.
References Reference list must include no more than 50 references. References must be numbered in the order cited, with in-text citation numbers in square brackets, and list the first author followed by et al. when there are 4 or more authors.
Figures & Tables Figures or tables may be included without limit. Figures must be submitted as separate files. Tables must be supplied in an editable format rather than as images, and figures must have legends with alt text provided in the main manuscript under the relevant figure legend.
