Original Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Original Articles must include an abstract. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract may be either structured with specified section headings or a single-paragraph narrative abstract. Structured abstracts should use the headings Study Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusions, and Keywords, and the abstract must be followed by 3 to 10 keywords.
Manuscript Original Articles must include a Statement of Significance limited to 120 words and a graphical abstract submitted as a separate file by first revision at the latest.
References References must follow American Medical Association 10th Edition style. References must be cited in consecutive numerical order using Arabic numerals in brackets, list all authors when fewer than seven or the first three followed by et al. when seven or more, and include article title, journal name, year, volume, issue, and inclusive pages.
Figures & Tables Figures must be submitted separately one per file, while tables may be included in the manuscript following the references and/or figure captions list or submitted together in a separate file. Figure number, title, and captions should appear in the manuscript following the references, and all images, figures, illustrations, and photographs must include alt text in the main manuscript directly under the relevant figure legend.

Abstract Abstract is required for Review Articles. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract may be structured with headings or submitted as a single-paragraph narrative abstract. Structured abstracts should include Study Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusions, and Keywords, and abstracts must be followed by 3 to 10 keywords.
Manuscript Review Articles must include a Statement of Significance limited to 120 words, and submission requires a review proposal form providing the author name, proposed manuscript title, projected submission date, review type, review outline, topic importance, recent developments or novel aspects to be addressed, and how the review will expand on previous works, if any.
References References must follow American Medical Association 10th Edition style. References must be cited in consecutive numerical order using Arabic numerals in brackets, list all authors when fewer than seven and the first three plus et al. when seven or more, and include article title, journal name, year, volume, issue, inclusive pages, and DOI or URL when appropriate.
