Abstract A structured abstract is required for Original Articles. Abstract must be 200–450 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Original Articles have no fixed word limit, but the main text word count excluding the abstract, references, tables, boxes, or figures must be provided at submission. Main text must be organized as Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusions. Manuscript must include 3–5 keywords, a highlight box of no more than 250 words with the sections Key findings, What is known and what is new?, and What is the implication, and what should change now?, a Contributions section unless there is only one author using the specified contribution headings, and disclosure of any AI tool use in the Materials and Methods and Acknowledgment.
References References must follow Vancouver style. Citations must use numbers in round brackets in consecutive order of first appearance, journal titles must be abbreviated in Index Medicus style, and references with more than three authors must list the first three followed by “et al.”.
