Original Article
Cover Letter
Any use of AI tools must be disclosed in the cover letter, including the prompts used, the time and date of queries, and the AI tool and version.
Abstract
A structured abstract is required for Original Articles. Abstract must be 200–450 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript
Original Articles have no fixed word limit, but the main text word count excluding the abstract, references, tables, boxes, or figures must be provided at submission. Main text must be organized as Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusions. Manuscript must include 3–5 keywords, a highlight box of no more than 250 words with the sections Key findings, What is known and what is new?, and What is the implication, and what should change now?, a Contributions section unless there is only one author using the specified contribution headings, and disclosure of any AI tool use in the Materials and Methods and Acknowledgment.
References
References must follow Vancouver style. Citations must use numbers in round brackets in consecutive order of first appearance, journal titles must be abbreviated in Index Medicus style, and references with more than three authors must list the first three followed by “et al.”.
Figures & Tables
Figures must be provided in separate files, and tables are recommended to be provided in separate files. Tables must be numbered consecutively and be editable rather than images, and figures must be cited in order and accompanied by figure legends including the figure title, abbreviation expansions, and symbol descriptions.

Review Articles must include 3–5 keywords, the main body must discuss the main strengths and limitations, and a Contributions section should be included with the headings Conception and design; Administrative support; Provision of study materials or patients; Collection and assembly of data; Data analysis and interpretation; Manuscript writing: All authors; Final approval of manuscript: All authors.
