Clinical Study

Cover Letter A cover letter must be provided. If biostatistics editing was performed, a confirmation letter must include the corresponding author's name and contact information and the manuscript title, and if a statistician or commercial service provider was used, it must also include the provider's identifying and contact information.
Abstract An abstract is required. The abstract must be structured to contain the essential components of each manuscript section in IMRaD format.
Manuscript Studies using biostatistics must include in the Materials and Methods section a statement that statistical review was performed by a biomedical statistician, and organ transplantation studies must include in Materials and Methods a statement that no illegal or unethical organ procurement practices were involved. The manuscript submission must include keywords and a core tip, the Footnotes section must state the Institutional Review Board name for human or organ transplantation studies and include an informed consent statement for clinical research or case reports involving humans or organ transplantation and a data sharing statement for clinical and basic research studies, and any AI use must be disclosed with the tool and version used.
References References must be numbered according to their order of appearance in the main text and should be closely related to the subject matter of the text.
Figures & Tables The full manuscript, including main text, tables, and figures, must be uploaded at one time. Figures and tables must be correctly placed and clearly identified, numbered consecutively in the order they appear in the text, and figures must include detailed legends on a separate page.

Basic Study

Manuscript Studies using animal subjects must include statements on measures to minimize pain or discomfort and details of animal care in the Materials and Methods section, and studies using biostatistics must include a Materials and Methods statement that statistical review was performed by a biomedical statistician. Keywords, a Core Tip, Footnotes disclosures including required institutional details for human, organ transplantation, animal, and data sharing statements, and AI-use disclosures are required components.
