Article

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. It must include the manuscript title, corresponding author name, names of any other authors, a paragraph explaining why the paper is appropriate for ACS Pharmacology & Translational Science, whether the manuscript was discussed with an ACS Pharmacology & Translational Science Editor before submission, and a short approximately 150-word lay summary of the study's significance for a broad audience.
Abstract An abstract is required. The abstract must be 250 words or less. The abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript Articles should normally be less than 6500 words in length. The manuscript must include a referenced introduction and the headed sections Results and Discussion and Methods in that order. A graphical Table of Contents entry and up to six keywords are required, and safety information must be included in the Experimental Section.
References Articles should contain approximately 50 references. References must be numbered with Arabic numerals in order of first citation, cited in the text by number, compiled at the end of the manuscript, and journal references must include DOIs.
Figures & Tables Articles should include 7–10 display items. Figures, charts, tables, schemes, and equations should be embedded in the text at the point of relevance, while Supporting Information must be submitted as separate file(s). The manuscript must include a graphical Table of Contents entry, tables must be numbered consecutively with descriptive titles and be self-explanatory, and figures must have captions below them.

Review

Manuscript Reviews should be greater than 5000 words in length. Reviews may be divided into sections preceded by headings. The manuscript should include a graphical Table of Contents entry, approximately 100 references, and a key words paragraph defining key words and key concepts is recommended.
References Reviews should contain approximately 100 references, though there is no strict limit. References must be numbered in the order of first citation in the text and listed together at the end of the manuscript, with DOI included for journal references.
Figures & Tables Reviews should include 4–8 display items. Figures, charts, tables, schemes, and equations should be embedded in the text at the point of relevance, and supporting information must be submitted separately. The review must include a colorful graphical Table of Contents figure, and tables and figures must have descriptive titles or captions.
