Advanced Pharmaceutical Bulletin is a peer reviewed multidisciplinary open access journal covering a wide range of integrative fields within pharmaceutical sciences. It is the official journal of the Drug Applied Research Center and Faculty of Pharmacy and is published by TUOMS PRESS, Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. The journal is issued quarterly and uses a CC BY license.

Advanced Pharmaceutical Bulletin accepts the following article types. Click on an article type to view submission instructions.

Research Article

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must confirm originality, exclusive submission, absence of copied sentences, and that all authors reviewed, approved, consented to submission, and are accountable for the work, and it should explain the work's novelty, note any policy issues, declare potential competing interests, and name any relevant special issue.

Abstract A structured abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Purpose, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.

Manuscript Manuscript must be up to approximately 8000 words including tables, figures, and references. Manuscript must include Title, Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, References, Tables, Legend for figures, and List of additional files sections. Manuscript must include 4 to 8 MeSH keywords and a competing interests section at the end of the manuscript before the references.

References References must follow Vancouver style. References must be cited in the text using sequential superscript numbers and listed in numerical order at the end of the manuscript, with all authors named when there are 6 or fewer authors and the first 6 followed by et al. when there are more than 6.

Figures & Tables Figures must be uploaded as separate files rather than embedded in the main manuscript file. Figures and tables must be cited in numerical order in the text, each figure must have a legend, and multi-panel figures must be combined into one file.

References References must follow Vancouver style. References must be cited as sequential superscript numbers in the text and presented as a numbered reference list, listing all authors when there are 6 or fewer and the first 6 followed by et al. when there are more than 6.

Figures & Tables Figures must be submitted as separate files and not embedded in the main manuscript file. Each figure must have a legend provided during submission, and multi-panel figures must be combined and uploaded as one file.

Manuscript Mini Review must be up to approximately 4000 words including tables, figures, and references. Manuscript must include 4 to 8 MeSH keywords listed alphabetically in lower case except where necessary, and a Competing Interests section at the end of the manuscript before the references.

References Mini Review must include 50 to 80 references. References must follow Vancouver style. References must be numbered sequentially in superscript in the text and listed in numerical order at the end, with all authors named when there are 6 or fewer authors and the first 6 followed by et al. when there are more than 6.

Figures & Tables Figures must be submitted as separate files and not embedded in the main manuscript file. Each figure must have a legend, multi-panel figures must be combined into one file, and tables must be created as editable cell-based tables in Microsoft Word.
