Abstract An abstract is required. The abstract must be no more than 250 words. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must include the headings Significance, Recent Advances, Critical Issues, and Future Directions.
Manuscript The main scientific body must be 5,000–7,500 words, excluding the abstract, figure legends, references, abbreviations, and other text such as About the Authors. The article must begin with 1.0 Scope and Significance, 2.0 Translational Relevance, and 3.0 Clinical Relevance, include a table of content after the abstract, and end with a one- or two-paragraph Summary followed by itemized Take-Home Messages and then Acknowledgments, Author Confirmation, Author Disclosure and Ghostwriting, Funding Statement, About the Authors, Abbreviations and Acronyms, References, Figure legends, and Tables.
