Original Articles

Cover Letter A cover letter is not explicitly required.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must concisely state the background, methods, results, and conclusions, and include a Level of Evidence statement at the end.
Manuscript Manuscript is limited to 3000 words. Manuscript must be organized in the following order: Introductions, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusion, Discussion, and Acknowledgements; References; Legends. Manuscript must include 4 to 6 keywords separated by commas and a bullet-point list of 3 to 4 important points below the abstract.
References There is no reference limit. References must be cited by numbers in brackets and both in-text citations and the reference list must follow citation order.
Figures & Tables Manuscript may include up to 20 figures. Figure legends must be included at the end of the manuscript text, and each figure must be submitted as a separate file. Tables and figures must be numbered with Arabic numerals and cited in consecutive numerical order.

Manuscript Review Articles are limited to 3000 words. Review Articles must be ordered as Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements, Compliance with Ethical Standards, References, Figure Legends, and Tables. The manuscript must include 4 to 6 keywords and a bullet-point list of 3 to 4 important points below the abstract.
References Review Articles have no reference limit. References must be cited by numbers in brackets and arranged in citation order in both the text and reference list.
