Original Study

Cover Letter Cover letter is required. Cover letter must state that the manuscript has been seen and approved by all authors and, if color figures are submitted, whether the authors are willing to meet possible color reproduction costs.
Abstract Abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must include Objective, Summary Background Data, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Text must not exceed 3,000 words excluding abstract, references, tables, and figures. Manuscript must include a formal title page and use a structured abstract. A mini-abstract of no more than three sentences or 50 words is required, and any use of AI tools in writing, image or graphical production, or data collection and analysis must be disclosed in the Materials and Methods or similar section, including the tool used and how it was used.
References References must not exceed 50. References must be cited numerically in the text in order of appearance. If a reference has more than three authors, list only the first three followed by "et al".
Figures & Tables A maximum combined total of 5 tables and figures may be included for print publication, with additional tables and figures allowed as online-only supplemental digital content. Tables and figures must be submitted separately and must not be embedded in the manuscript text file. Each table must be on a separate page with its title and footnotes, and figure legends must be provided on a separate manuscript page after the references.
