Avicenna is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal focused on advancing global public health knowledge and practice, with particular emphasis on the Middle East and other regions facing distinct public health challenges. It publishes in English and Arabic and covers public health policy and systems, global health equity, healthcare management, health technology and innovation, ethics, and cultural dimensions of health. The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, case reports, letters to the editor, expert commentaries, and editorials, is published biannually, and is indexed in DOAJ, Web of Science ESCI, Crossref, and Google Scholar.
