Original Research Articles

Cover Letter Cover letter is required and must specify the manuscript type being submitted. Cover letter must specify the manuscript type as Original Research Article.
Abstract Abstract is required and must be structured. Abstract must be no longer than 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Background, Purpose, Methodology/Approach, Results, Conclusion, and Practice Implications.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 26 pages inclusive of text. Text must use the major section headings Introduction, Theory, Method, Results, Discussion, and Practice Implications. Manuscript must include an abstract page with key words and a table describing characteristics of participants.
References Reference list must include no more than 40 references. References must follow APA 6th edition style. References must be cited in the text by author and date, listed alphabetically by first author surname, and presented on a separate page from the text.
Figures & Tables Manuscript must include no more than 5 exhibits total, including tables, figures, and diagrams. Figures must be submitted as separate files rather than embedded in the manuscript, and each exhibit must be placed on a separate page. Manuscript must include a table describing characteristics of participants.

Review Article exhibits should convey a synthesis of the literature reviewed or highlight novel findings.
