Brain, Behavior, and Immunity - Health (BBI - Health) is a Gold Open Access companion journal to Brain, Behavior, and Immunity and an official journal of the Psychoneuroimmunology Research Society. It publishes peer-reviewed basic, experimental, and clinical studies on behavioral, neural, endocrine, and immune system interactions in humans and animals, with emphasis on translational relevance and clinical implications across fields including neuroscience, immunology, physiology, behavioural sciences, psychiatry, psychology, and clinical medicine.

Manuscript Full-Length Research Reports should articulate their findings within approximately 6,000 words. Manuscript must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections, with the abstract excluded from section numbering. Manuscript must include 1 to 7 English keywords, provide 3 to 5 highlights in a separate editable file, and include a generative AI declaration before the references if such tools were used in manuscript preparation.
References Citations must use author-year style. Reference list must be arranged alphabetically and then chronologically if necessary, and references may be submitted in any consistent style or format as long as they include the required bibliographic details.
