Original Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Original Articles must include a structured abstract. Abstract should be approximately 250 words in length. Abstract must be structured as four paragraphs. Abstract headings must be Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Original Articles must not exceed 4000 words. Manuscript must be divided into Title page, Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods or Patients and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgments, References, Figure Legends, and Tables. Manuscript must include no more than 5 keywords and a separate section before the reference list for acknowledgments and a summary conflict of interest statement.
References Original Articles must not exceed 40 references. Citations in the text must be numbered in square brackets, and the reference list must list all authors when there are six or fewer authors or list six authors followed by et al. when there are seven or more authors.
Figures & Tables Original Articles must not exceed 7 figures and tables in total. Figure captions must be included in the manuscript text file rather than in the figure files. Tables and figures must be numbered with Arabic numerals and cited in the text in consecutive numerical order, with each table having a title and each figure having a legend.
