Original Research Reports

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must indicate why the manuscript is suitable for publication and disclose any third-party writing or editing assistance or submission by a non-author on behalf of the authors.
Abstract A structured abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must concisely state the purpose of the research, major findings, and conclusions.
Manuscript Main text is limited to 20 double-spaced pages for quantitative original research reports and 25 double-spaced pages for qualitative and mixed methods original research reports, excluding the cover page, abstract, tables, and references. Manuscript is expected to use the headings Background & Purpose, Methods and Procedures, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion. Manuscript must include 4 to 6 keywords after the abstract and include a Statements and Declarations section after the Acknowledgements and Author Contributions sections if applicable.
References References must follow APA style. Every in-text citation must have a corresponding reference list entry and vice versa, with identical spelling and year in both places.
Figures & Tables A maximum of 3 tables and 3 figures is allowed. Tables must not be embedded in the main text and should be submitted on separate pages or files, while figures created in Word should be included in the main text and figures created outside Word should be submitted separately. Figures must be numbered consecutively in the order cited and both tables and figures must include a number and title.
