Cancer Biology & Therapy is an international journal covering all aspects of the molecular basis of cancer with translational relevance to diagnosis and therapy. It publishes original research, reviews, meeting reports, bedside-to-bench reports, letters to the editor, and perspective articles, and operates a single-anonymized peer review policy. The journal became fully Open Access from Volume 23 in 2022.

Review Article

Abstract A structured abstract is required. Abstract must be 150 words. Abstract must be structured.
Manuscript Manuscript must be ordered as title page, abstract, keywords, main text introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, acknowledgments, declaration of interest statement, references, appendices as appropriate, tables with captions on individual pages, figures, and figure captions as a list. Manuscript must include 5 to 10 keywords and a declaration of interest statement under the subheading "Disclosure of interest," and any use of AI in writing must be acknowledged in the paper.
References References must not exceed 150. References may be in any consistent scholarly citation style or format. References must include complete bibliographic details, every reference entry must have a corresponding in-text citation, and citations in review articles must be relevant, fair, balanced, and not unfairly biased toward any particular research group, organization, or journal.
Figures & Tables Figures and tables may be embedded within the manuscript text or submitted as separate documents. Tables must be placed on individual pages with captions, and figure captions must be provided as a list.
