Original Articles

Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract
Abstract must not exceed 300 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript
Manuscript must not exceed 3500 words. Main body must be formatted as introduction, methods, results, discussion, and conclusion. Manuscript must include up to seven keywords, a graphical abstract, and three bulleted key messages summarising the findings with each key message no longer than 15 words.
References
References must use Vancouver style.
Figures & Tables
Original Articles may include up to 8 figures or tables. Figures should be supplied as separate files. Figures and tables must have legends, each table must include a title and footnotes, and figure legends must also be provided as a complete list in the text.
Review Articles

Abstract
An abstract is required for Review Articles. Abstract must not exceed 300 words. Abstract must be unstructured and summarize the key messages of the review article.
Manuscript
Review Articles must not exceed 4500 words. Main body should be formatted as introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusion. Manuscript must include up to seven keywords, a graphical abstract, and three bulleted key messages summarising the findings with each key message no longer than 15 words.
References
Review Articles must not exceed 150 references. References must use Vancouver style.
Figures & Tables
Review Articles must include at least 4 tables or figures in total, including at least 2 figures. Figures should be supplied as separate files. Figures and tables should have legends, each table must include a title and footnotes, and figure legends must be provided both beneath each uploaded image and as a complete list in the text.
Systematic Reviews

Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract
Abstract is required for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis. Abstract must not exceed 300 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Objective, Design, Data sources, Eligibility criteria for selecting studies, Results, Conclusions, and Systematic review registration, and the Results section must report main findings with 95% confidence intervals and include the systematic review registry and registration number.
Manuscript
Main body must be formatted as introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusion, and Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis should clearly describe the population, intervention or exposure of interest, and the outcomes. Manuscript must include up to seven keywords and a graphical abstract consisting of a single concise figure that visually summarizes the main research findings.

References must use Vancouver style.
