Abstract Abstract requirements are not specified.
Manuscript Original Papers have a 3,500-word limit. Manuscripts should be organized in the order Title, Running Title, Authors, Contact Information, Abstract, Keywords, Main text with Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion, Acknowledgements, References, Tables, Figure legends, and Figures. Manuscripts must include seven keywords and an author contributions statement immediately before the references, and RRIDs should be included where applicable including in the keywords.
References References may be submitted in any consistent style or format at submission. Reference lists may include only articles that have been published or are currently in press, and necessary in-press manuscripts must be included at submission.
Figures & Tables Figures must be submitted in separate files from the main text file. All tables must be cited in the text and have titles, and figure legends must be numbered consecutively and define all abbreviations, symbols, and units of measurement used.
