Journal of Oral Rehabilitation aims to be the most prestigious journal of dental research within all aspects of oral rehabilitation and applied oral physiology. It covers all diagnostic and clinical management aspects necessary to re-establish a subjective and objective harmonious oral function and publishes evidence-based clinical dentistry on efficacy of interventions, possible side-effects, and prognostic perspectives. Its aim is to bridge the gap between relevant basic sciences and clinical dentistry to improve the quality of oral rehabilitation.

Original Research

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract is required for Original Research articles. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Background, Objective(s), Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Manuscript Introduction must not exceed 500 words and Discussion must not exceed 1500 words. Main text must contain sections on background, methods, results, and conclusions with appropriate headings. Manuscript must include six MeSH keywords and a graphical table of contents containing the article title, author names with the corresponding author marked by an asterisk, no more than 80 words or 3 sentences summarising the key findings, and a figure representing the scope of the paper.
References Original Research articles must not include more than 50 references. References must follow AMA style. References must be numbered consecutively in order of appearance and cited in the text with Arabic superscript numerals.
Figures & Tables Original Research articles must not include more than 6 figures and tables in total. Figures must be uploaded as separate files and must not be embedded in the manuscript. Graphical table of contents must be uploaded as supplementary material for initial submission.
