Review Article

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must state that the material has not been published previously and, if AI-assisted technologies were used, describe their use.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must be unstructured and not exceed 300 words. Abstract must be unstructured. No mandatory abstract headings are specified.
Manuscript Main text has no word limit. Manuscript must be structured as Title page, unstructured abstract and keywords, key message of 70 words or less, main text with Introduction, Body text, and Conclusion, acknowledgments if necessary, references, tables, figure legends, and figures. Manuscript must include up to 5 keywords below the abstract, a key message of 70 words or less, and a brief AI-use description in the Acknowledgment or Methods section if generative AI was used.
References There is no reference limit. References must use Vancouver style. References must be numbered consecutively in order of first citation and listed in that same order in the reference section.
Figures & Tables Review Articles should include at least 2 and no more than 6 figures or tables in total. Tables should be placed on separate pages within the manuscript. Figure legends must be fully self-explanatory, and tables and figures must be numbered consecutively in the order first cited.

Abstract A structured abstract is required for Original Articles. Abstract must not exceed 300 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must include Background, Purpose, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Manuscript Main text must be 4,000 words or less. Manuscript must be organized as Title page, structured abstract and keywords, key message, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, acknowledgments if necessary, references, tables, figure legends, and figures. Manuscript must include up to 5 keywords below the abstract, a key message of 70 words or less in the format Question, Finding, Meaning, and disclosure of generative AI use in the Acknowledgment or Methods section when applicable.
References References are unlimited, but 35 or fewer are generally recommended. References must follow Vancouver style. References must be numbered consecutively in order of first citation and listed in that same order using Arabic numerals.
Figures & Tables No more than 6 figures or tables may be included. Tables must appear on separate pages within the manuscript, and figure legends and figures must be placed after the references in the manuscript order. Systematic Review And Meta-Analysis

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. The cover letter must state that the material has not been published previously, and all listed authors must have read the final manuscript and agree with the submission.
Abstract A structured abstract is required. The abstract must be 400 words or less. The abstract must be structured.
Manuscript Systematic reviews and meta-analyses may use a format different from IMRAD, and review manuscripts must describe the methods used for locating, selecting, extracting, and synthesizing data. The manuscript must include a key message of 70 words or less, up to 5 keywords below the abstract, a brief generative AI disclosure in the Acknowledgment or Methods section if such technology was used, and information about the study design in the title.
References There is no reference limit. References must use Vancouver style. References must be numbered consecutively in the order first mentioned, cited in the text with Arabic numerals in parentheses or as superscript Arabic numbers, and listed in the reference section in order of citation.
Figures & Tables The submission should include 2 or more figures or tables and no more than 6 figures or tables. Manuscript Main text must be 800 words or less. Text must be a short report on a unique, educational, or practical pediatric image or video that includes a brief patient history and laboratory findings and explains what the image or video shows, why it is of interest to the pediatrician, and the patient outcome. Clinical Note must include a key message of 70 words or less and a short question of about 20 words with four short answer options for a single-best-answer quiz, and authors’ names, affiliations, funding sources, and conflicts of interest must be listed at the end following references.
